Yep. Says so here.
An interesting mixture of theologies, yes? That, or yet another sign of End Times. And thanks, Jesus Goes to Disney World, for the photo.

I have an Antiochian Orthodox priest friend in Hot Springs, Arkansas, who told about being asked by someone in the supermarket if he was a Catholic priest. He said, No, Orthodox. The person seemed quite interested. He said that where he lived in Arkansas they didn’t have Orthodox or regular Catholics but that they had Baptist Catholics. My friend was quite interested in this breed of Catholics or Baptists so he asked him the name of the parish of these Baptist Catholics. The man told him the name of the place was St. John, the Baptist Catholic Church.
And because I grew up where the lines of denominations/faiths were drawn in thick, black ink, this fascinates me.
Susan, my tongue was firmly planted within my cheek on that one. I attend the St. Gerald Catholic Church but that doesn’t make me a Gerald Catholic.
