Which is interesting, because I found a note in a library book this week, too, though it was a note from someone to someone else. Of course I read it. It was sweet. A woman was thanking another woman for having her to lunch. They had chicken salad. On new plates. Why did this interest me? I have no idea.
But the note above is even more fascinating. Note the order of 2003 self-improvements? Lose weight, whiten teeth, remove facial bumps, then attitude. However, so long as the note-writer gets to that negative attitude, who am I to judge?
Oh, wait. “Judging.” That’s on the list…
And thanks, BuzzFeed, for the link.

Navarro curses? Is that what that says? Wtf is a navarro curse? (I actually googled this, but found nothing.)
I betcha her family-name is Navarro, and she feels that all of these actions are family-related.
I wondered if this was the family name?
Is it possible she thought of them as parallel lists, one outer and one inner?
That’s a good guess, actually. And I felt like a turd for noticing.
BuzzFeed is quite snarky here: “This was found in a library book, which is heartening, really, that someone with 110 lbs as a goal weight still reads. ”
Maybe it was written by my VERY smart friend “A” who is under 5′ tall and on a FAT day weighs well under 100 lbs. Maybe she was hoping to get UP to 110 pounds, so she could give blood or something.
I think that was snotty, too, but I love the idea of peeking in on other people’s goals. I’m nosy like that. Nosey? I can’t tell any more.
It says “weight reduction.”
Right.
Clearly I forgot about that.
But even if she’s 5’2″ and weighs 114, I think that the number isn’t the issue.
