Swiss voters overwhelmingly banned the construction of minarets.

It looks like their fear and protest is misplaced to me. Why can’t people be more direct about these things?
Do they really think not having minarets addresses the issues they fear?
Apparently they believe that just may solve something. Who would have thought it would be that simple?
Right. Don’t let ‘em up the equivalent of steeples on their buildings. That makes sense.
No no no. It just doesn’t fit into the ARCHITECTURAL purity of Switzerland.
