  1. Emily Stutzman Jones

Church sign: “Love Jesus? To meet him now, text while driving!”

    • I’m a little surprised this would be controversial. These folks should drive through my hometown and read some of THOSE church signs.

  2. Guilty as charged. I’ve yet to find a hands-free device I like. Trying to make turning off the phone part of the driving habit (like buckling up). So hard not to answer when it rings. Damn that Pavlovian response!

  3. As someone who spends 5-7 hours on a bicycle each week, few things scare me as much texting.

  4. Our new car had Onstar with the built in cell phone absolutely hands free. Neither of us use phones much since we retired but it is so great if I really need to contact someone to just push a steering wheel button and say “Call (nickname) and never take my eyes off the road.

  5. I wouldn’t dream of trying to text and drive. I can’t even text while sitting in a stationary chair. And I’ve never been able to talk and drive. I used to be able to listen while driving, but now I can’t even do that reliably.
