Has Bruce moved to another country?
Today is the 97th birthday of Grace Lee Boggs (who published her 5th book just last year). A couple of years ago she said, on Democracy Now, “…people are beginning to say the only way to survive is by taking care of one another…”
Sounds like it.
I have a great deal of respect for Grace Lee Boggs. (Happy Birthday!) She had some pointed words for socialist intelligentsia a couple of years ago at a conference…I can’t find the link now…about getting out from behind the veil of academia and getting to work on the streets.
She practices what she preaches. She done more for the people of Detroit than the federal government.
I haven’t read that new book yet. I should.
