Want to win a free DVD?

Cynical has gifted me with the documentary, “Koch Brothers Exposed,” which I will watch tonight, and then cheerfully (well…) pass on to the first person who guesses correctly what the Supreme Court will say on their Obamacare decision, which is expected tomorrow.

Submit your guesses in the comments. If there is a tie, we will flip a coin — or share the DVD with one person with the understanding that person will share it, as well. Comments will be approved in the order in which they are received. I am running around most of the day tomorrow, so there will be no winner named until later in the evening.

Have at it, prognosticators/seers/really good guessers! Imagine how jealous will be your friends, if you win.

  1. “Let them eat cake.” Or words to that effect.

  2. Punt…or Talk to the Hand.
The Anti-Injunction Act bars the Court from considering the mandate question until the federal government begins enforcing the ACA in 2014.

It’s the long shot, for sure. Just call it a gut feeling.

My guess is that John Roberts will write (and announce) the decision and he will uphold the entire bill. He doesn’t want to go in the history books as the most political Chief Justice in US History.
Scalia and Alito have been pretty b*tchly lately…perhaps they lost this fight?!!?

    • I had not thought of that. Did someone say Roberts was writing the opinion? Maybe Scalia and Alito need a nap?

      • The general though amongst Court-watchers, based on who has written thus far, is Roberts will write this one.

        • Yep. I read that, but can’t remember where. And there’s been much tea-leaf reading as to what that means.

          • Tea leaves is what one needs to try and Guess where the Gang of Five will jump.

          • Folks on the SCOTUS Live Blog are saying Roberts will probably announce but it could be per curium or have multiple authors. And there’ll be no video.

            • Saw that. I’m glued to SCOTUS. Wonder why no video? I remember reading talk about that a few days ago — and again, I haven’t a clue where I read that.

              • I saw it on the Live Blog this morning.
                Theory?
There’s probably going to be celebrities in attendance and the Court probably feels more comfortable with written reports of reactions than video.

  4. 520,000 so far on the Live Blog…holy crap.
C-Span3 is covering live online including the SCOTUS Live Blog in case the wpengine goes down.

    Looks like I lost. Whew!
