Kansas board revokes license of a doctor/colleague of Dr. George Tiller

Read the sad, sad case of Dr. Ann Kristin Neuhaus, a colleague of Dr. George Tiller, the latter of whom was murdered in 2009.

After investigating some of the abortions performed at Tiller’s clinic — where Neuhaus provided second opinions required by state law, the state board of healing arts decided that, for instance, Dr. Neuhaus shouldn’t have recommended performing an abortion on a 10-year old who was raped by her uncle.

  1. Sure, she’ll be fine. Raped, pregnant, and forced to give birth. No way that would have an impact on a 10 year old’s mental health.

    • I would think even a very slow mollusk would see that as the obvious conclusion but evidently, the board is staffed by a lower form of life. I’m guessing.

  2. It sure will on her body, though. Too-early pregnancy is NOT a good thing. As a side note, isn’t it amazing that this child went through menarche so young???

  3. Hope the freaking uncle is in prison. For good. Barely tangentially: saw a story in today’s news about a guy who’d been sentenced to 20 years for rape, assault, burglary, and previously had admitted to sexually assaulting a 15-year-old in Canada. He’s being let out on parole after 10 years. And of course he’ll never ever ever hurt another woman. Of course.

Oh good, today’s paper reports that our rapist/burglar (and we should add escape artist to that list) has promised that he’ll be good.
