  1. So…in a market-state election…(One dollar. One Vote.)…it looks pretty close to neck-and-neck.
So which store do we buy at to support which candidate?
Or do we just send someone the money direct. I like the shopping part better. Your left with, at least, something immediately tangible…like a sales slip…to connect you with your party candidate.

Otherwise you got to just wait for it.
    Like healthcare reform.

  2. Are there any internet coupons for the purchase of politicians?

  3. I’m going to go on a date with a Republican Super PAC.

    Oh. Wait.

  4. What a waste of resources.

    • YES! The more so as it’s being touted as points in the ladly competition. Is anyone thinking of these funds as resources to be used– even to be used for advertising and diseminating candidate information? Let alone taken from the purchase or manufacture of food or shelter or art or knowledge?

      • It makes me crazy when I see how much a Linda McMahon, say, spends — what was it, $50 million the last time she ran? Just think about how much GOOD could be done for $50 million.

  5. I wouldn’t buy a politician unless there was a money back guarantee. That’s the problem with our current system!

    • I’ve been thinking about that a lot, lately, as I am rapidly becoming an heiress, having quit my day job. What’s to say that a crooked politician who takes money for actions committed later will actually do what s/he has been bought and paid for to do? Does it happen that politicians sometimes don’t live up to those promises, as well?

I sound more cynical (no offense, Cynical) than I feel.

  6. Cynical Susan

No no, cynical is good! It’s better than greed!
