Not really, but it’s interesting how the New York press is discussing the newest Jet’s chastity.
His brand of Christianity is not mine, but I wish we could just leave the guy alone. (Of course, this blog post isn’t precisely leaving the guy alone, but still.)

The Pew Forum On Religion & Public Life has a new study that says religious lobby groups have increased fivefold over the last 40 years.
Just another reminder that physical plant does not a worship (or Occupy movement) make: A bidding war has erupted over the grounds of the Rev. Robert Schuller’s Crystal Cathedral. Bidders are Orange County’s Chapman University and the Roman Catholic Diocese of Orange; the price is edging toward $60 million.
The cathedral is in bankruptcy, and much of the discussion in court has centered around what kind of parachute (Mike, who sends this, says “golden”) will be given to Schuller. About 70 percent of the church’s revenue come from Schuller’s “Hour of Power” program.
None are beloved by TheCall, a prayer rally that starts Friday night in Detroit – and Muslims seem to be their special target.
Look, there’s a difference between sharing the Word, and stuffing it down the throat of someone who has their theology in place already. And when you go around demonizing someone’s religion from the most ignorant place imaginable, you must be countered with accurate information.
