…yeah, I know. It’s hard to put politics aside, but after this latest revelation that John Edwards’ senior staff had a plan to sabotage him should he get reach the Democratic nominaton for president, here’s my question:
Can this guy ever come back to public service? Or, at least, can he ever come back to elected office (public service being a broader term)? With his wife’s book out, and his wife on a grand tour of the talk shows, should John Edwards just fade into the world of non-profits and big speakers’ fees?
Or can he be forgiven his trespasses?
