Is it all about religious freedom? Or freedom to practice (or not) as one sees fit? Some GOP lawmakers say the Air Force is hostile to religion.
In response, I love this, an examination of the Air Force and religious freedom, from Jason Pitzl-Waters, at Patheos.
Real religious freedom starts when groups stop twisting the concept to privilege themselves at the expense of others.
And thanks, Mike the Heathen, for the link.
Sounds like the 666 missed the Rock Beyond Belief concert at Fort Bragg. (Hi Tom!)
Thought I was going to go for the Mikey Weinstein, huh? Well…plenty of time for that.
Knowing how The President spends his Tuesdays, and the recent revelations on the planned proliferation of Drones Over America, (plug!), the lawmakers are probably anxious to make sure they don’t wind up listed in the wrong column.
They should sign the Do Not Kill Registry. Just to be on the safe side.
…OOOPS!…that’s supposed to be just 66…my bad…
Ha. I have the Do Not Kill Registry all loaded up as a blog entry its own-self.
I saw that after I clicked the button…I just couldn’t resist…their focus being confined to the Air Force and all.
There you go.
There should be a Kill Me Instead registry. I’d sign right up.
Greater love hath no Mary Ann, than that…
Do those representitives get that there is more than one religion? (Last summer a navy recruiter came to our UU fellowship specificaly looking for non-Christian chaplins.)
Wait, what? There’s more than one religion? Someone should tell someone this.
Don’t these folks have something more important to do than roam around the Republic looking for things to be offended by?
In a word? No. And they’ve asked me to answer for them, as they don’t want to take the time to respond to you because that would cut into their crying-victim time.
