It will be interesting to watch how Ireland proceeds. As stated in the article, some important issues remain. How social conservatives, and The Church, are reconciled to the new law could provide some solutions for similar issues here.

I thought it would be much closer.
Same here, though the coverage running up to Friday’s vote was nearly giddy with anticipation of a yes vote. Go figure!
