Bob Fletcher died in 2013, and his obituary was in the New York Times. His death is not news, but it’s a good thing to ponder Mr. Fletcher. Mr. Fletcher was a lot of things, including a patriot. In World War II, Mr. Fletcher defied his neighbors and quit his job to keep up the farms of his Japanese-American neighbors who were incarcerated in internment camps.
