Since the vote to defund Planned Parenthood last night, we should talk:

The vote didn’t advance in the Senate, but you can read more here, (and see this in bigger print) at Kaiser Family Foundation.

  1. Contraception has nothing to do with the question CMP and its supporters in Congress want to drive into our brains.
    That question is:
Are you comfortable with Planned Parenthood…or anybody…selling aborted fetuses in an open market in order to contribute to the “diversification of their revenue stream”? Are you comfortable knowing such a market even exists?

      1. They need to divest themselves from that service as much as possible. ASAP. If that happens where I live? They’re toast in this state.

      2. And now I read this morning that governors in Florida, Alabama and Louisiana have all issued orders to stop State government funding of Planned Parenthood because of this controversy.

Planned Parenthood needs to do something and do it quick. 97% of Planned Parenthood services are not related to abortion. 80% of planned Parenthood patients are at or below 150% of FPL. Those funds are critical to providing continuing access to women’s reproductive healthcare.
