In the latest of a series of really incredibly stupid, hurtful and — at best — ill-informed comments, Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump says he would “certainly implement” a database of all Muslims living in the U.S.
How is this different from registering Jews in Nazi Germany? Trump couldn’t say. But this gives me an idea:
What if we created a national database for dipshits? We live under constant threat from dipshits, and having known dipshits register would allow us to know where they are, and it would give us the ability to track them down quickly if need be, and we could all sleep safer knowing our world is a little safer from dipshittery. (Of course, we might fill the list rather quickly. Someone’s going to have to be responsible for quality control.)
And of course, dipshits who stay within the law have absolutely nothing to worry about.
Honestly, Trump would make a great sitcom about a powerful idiot, as Mel Brooks suggests, but he’s not funny. Enough of the dipshittery, the xenophobia, the rampant racism. If this is your candidate, we’re really going to need your contact information, too, thanks-much.
Dating Jesus 
In some states, it’s easy to spot the dipshits. They’re the ones who go to Walmart with a rifle slung across their back.
This is going to be a very long list.
The only question remaining is what will the badge they will be forced to wear look like? Maybe we should bring back the dunce cap?
In some arenas, it’s never gone out of style. All in favor? Good. A dunce cap it is.
A national database for dipshits?
Don’t we already have one of those?
