I’ve been following WaPo’s tally, which is based on “news reports, police records, internet databases and original reporting.” Their report isn’t consistent with the mappingpoliceviolence.org numbers, and has some very different “takeaways”. There are some similarities, but still, the inconsistencies are troubling.
