  1. I hate it when I have to agree with Obama.

    Taxing such things just doesn’t make any sense. But…a Luxury Tax? Really?
    We’re very anti-sales tax where I live. I’m adding this to my list of reasons why. Thanks.

  2. Rep. Luxenberg also led the fight to eliminate sales tax on diapers last year–a fight the General Assembly’s Committee has taken up again this year. ftp://ftp.cga.ct.gov/2016/tob/h/2016HB-05137-R00-HB.htm (There was a hearing yesterday.)
