I don’t agree with it either. Which may sound strange coming from a corner of the arena that has nobody in play on the national stage.

“Doomed” is just a little fatalistic, I think. The status quo will more than likely retain it’s stranglehold on American affairs, since we really have no say about who controls that status quo.
Yet.
