The 114th is “diverse,” if “diverse” means 80 percent white and 80 percent male and (it must be said) 92 percent Christian.

WHOLE lotta maleness going on, too! This needs to change. All groups need representation and we all need to seek out ways to protect interests of all people. I hope the next generation will do a better job.

Indeed. Gender is the first dimension of diversity.
