Nothing to see here (from “Leprosy,” by Rachel G. Hackenberg)

imagesStay away, God.
There is no sin here that you have not seen
and it is embarrassing to have you look.

Read the rest here. And thank you, Bro. Eric, for putting me on to this wonderful writer.

  1. Interesting…..nicely put together to be sure…but….
    No hard feelings? Really?
KInda wishful thinking from an Old Testament perspective.
“Is not my word like fire,” declares the Lord, “and like a hammer that breaks a rock in pieces? (Jeremiah 23:29)

    • I’m in the OT now. Jaysus, but it’s a dark bunch of books, though in the last few days, the chapters have turned a corner.

      • Getting a little anxious for that Good News?
After all that Old Testament I can’t blame you.

      • I am glad to hear about the corner. I have fallen behind by a couple of weeks and am discouraged by the OT. It really doesn’t appear to be written for the bulk of us and certainly not for women.

        • To be honest, I’m mostly just slogging through. Better chapters ahead, I hope. I like stories. Right now it’s a lot of boring exposition.
