Free Homa

homa-hoodfarOur sister in Iran, Canadian-Iranian professor Homa Hoodfar, 65, has been detained in a Tehran prison for 101 days. Her charges are “collaborating with a hostile government against national security and with propaganda against the state,” which her family denies. Her trial date has not been announced. She has fallen ill while in solitary.

On Wednesday, 20 former UN investigators called for her unconditional release. They add to their voices to a group of academics who’ve also called for her release.
