  1. That was a well-fought battle, to get the pentagram approved for military headstones. Too bad about that last line, though, highlighting the fact that while we have a military budget larger than all the other nations of the world combined, we have no identifiable enemy. Our treasure and our precious children are being sacrificed in order to line the pockets of corporations like Halliburton, Blackwater/Xe, and Goldman Sachs.

  2. “We Hate to See Them Go:” a song written in the 60s by Malvina Reynolds (who also wrote “Little Boxes,” covered by … everybody, as the theme for “Weeds”). The song is ruefully funny — I don’t mean to disrespect Sharon’s message. I can’t find a video of Reynolds doing her own song, but here’s Heather Lev:

  3. Our former minister William Chrystal was instrumental in getting Wicca/Paganism (Thors hammer is still not available for Astartu/heathen service members) recognized. Terrible how difficult it was.
