Wouldn’t that be something! HA!
Hey! I just said this — to a different one of your comments. Great minds.
Oh yeah. How do you do that bold print? Yours is so much better with the “that” emphasized.
I think it’s because I’m Blog Czarina/ Mistress of the Interweb. I have a little list of tools over the comment box. I can
doall kinds of cool crap.
Blog Czarina, Mistress of the Interweb:
Oh powerful one. Can you do this?
Lookie, I can write in green!
I can, but I don’t want to show off.
Actually, I don’t think I can.
I don’t know why it comes out green. The word “code” in the HTML was suppose to make it look like computer output, but it shows up as green. It might be useful around Christmas and St Paddy’s Day.
Like this?
Thank you. I’m here all week.
I think we can do this, too, with a little HTML.
“with a little HTML”
Hmm. A little Help From My Friends would be HFMF. Nope, don’t know how to do this.
Crap-ola. I thought I was
special.Sure…show off the one thing I haven’t figured out how to do!
Yeah, and I STILL can’t do green.
I have no idea how to do those cool things and don’t know HTML, so I’ll just have to dazzle you with my words. (Yeah right.)
Hey, Al Gore is on 30 Rock!
To make a word display in bold, for example, put these “tags” around the text you want to be in bold:
text goes here
I put those spaces in so that the tags would not get interpreted by our browsers as instructions. Omit the spaces and try it yourself.
Nope, didn’t work. WordPress is too smart for that.
So go here and see some examples:
http://www.w3schools.com/html/tryit.asp?filename=tryhtml_formatting
The letter ‘p’ in angle brackets is just the beginning of a paragraph. The ‘p’ preceded by a slash marks the end of a paragraph.
Let’s see what happens:
This text is bold
This text is big
This text is italic
This is computer output
This is subscript and superscript
Woo-hoo! Some of it worked. I can do some cool stuff, too!
Thanks, Sharon.
Yeah-sharon-thanks. No, I kid. I don’t know what your comment box looks like, but awesome. Play with it.
Some HTML tags just won’t work in WordPress. Most blog comment boxes only support the most basic!
There goes my power, draining right out onto the floor.
I brought home a couple of Daniel Craig as 007 movies. See y’all later!
