Oh! For the days!

vLet us look back with longing for the days when Hollywood starlets worried that they were too skinny and would speak freely about their vivacious curves (even though they were willing to shill for yet another product of questionable worth to do so).

And thanks, Jezebel, for the link.

  1. Meh. I come from a culture where curves are lauded. I used to have a butt – lost it. But I’ve never had a waist or hips, and most women do, regardless of their size.

If I gain weight, I’m shapeless. If I lose weight, I’m shapeless. I just can’t win.

    1. I’ve always been pretty skinny, and only when I hit 40 did I start to get the hint of a curve — on my right hip. It’s fortunately moved over to my left hip and while those curves were off-putting to me in the beginning, I know like ’em. I’m not a bean pole any more.
